Support Dogs Trust
I am very pleased that we can support Dogs Trust and its amazing team who provide refuge, care and love for thousands of mans best friend. Sadly, there are many cases the Trust look after that represent the worst in human nature but fortunately the Trust is there to give the care and support and ultimately provide the quality of life these animals need to recover.
Founded in 1891, Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK, with a network of 20 rehoming centres across the UK and one in Ireland, through which nearly 17,000 stray and abandoned dogs are cared for each year. Their mission is to bring about the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction.
The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance and a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners.
They are funded entirely by the generosity of their supporters and without them it would simply not be possible to care for nearly 17,000 dogs every year.
All donations are put to good use providing special care and finding loving homes for all the needy dogs in the centres. And of course, all donations help Dogs Trust to keep their promise - never to destroy a healthy dog.
Most of us are too busy trying to make our way in life each day but I hope that you will spare a little thought and some time and join us in our support of Dogs Trust and their remarkable work throughout the coming year.
